GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Pioneer rookie setter Peyton Colclough was named to the 2008 Tusculum Fall Classic All-Tournament Team.
Colclough, a freshman from Manassas, Va., led Tusculum to a 3-1 record over the weekend as she averaged 9.94 assists per set to go along with a .368 hitting percentage. She also averaged two digs per set while recording three service aces.
In Tusculum’s 3-1 loss to Lander, she recorded a double-double with 11 digs and 40 assists. Colclough and the Pioneers responded with a 3-0 victory over Barton as she tallied 30 assists in the straight-set triumph.
The Pioneers (9-3, 0-0 SAC) open South Atlantic Conference play this weekend with a pair of league contests at Pioneer Arena. Tusculum will face Newberry on Saturday at 5 p.m., while hosting defending SAC Champion Wingate on Sunday for a 1 p.m. tilt. Tusculum posted an 11-3 league record last year, finishing second on the conference race.
