  • Tusculum picked fifth in SAC Baseball Poll

    ROCK HILL, S.C. --- The Tusculum University baseball team is picked to finish fifth in the 2020 South Atlantic Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll announced league officials Monday. TU senior second baseman Daulton Martin was also named to the Preseason All-SAC Baseball team which was also released by the conference office.

    TOKYO --- Former Tusculum University pitcher Brandon Dickson was named to the All-World Team by the World Baseball Softball Confederation following the completion of the Premier12 on Sunday. The U.S. finished the tournament in fourth place with a 4-4 record.

    TOKYO --- Former Tusculum University pitcher Brandon Dickson recorded his third save of the tournament as Team USA rallied to defeat Chinese Taipei 3-2 Friday at the Tokyo Dome in its final game of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Premier12 Super Round.
  • Former Pioneer leads Team USA to 4-3 win over Japan

    TOKYO --- Former Tusculum University pitcher Brandon Dickson pitched a perfect ninth inning to lead Team USA to a 4-3 win over top-seeded Japan at the Tokyo Dome in the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Premier12 Super Round. With the victory, the stars and stripes move to 3-2 overall in the tournament and holds a 1-2 record in the Super Round standings.
