Harkey fourth, Pioneers fifth after day one of Dibble Memorial

CHUCKEY, Tenn. --- Tusculum B's Lawson Harkey is three-under par after 36 holes and is tied for fourth place after day one action of the 2025 Bob Dibble Memorial Men's Golf Tournament. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at the par-72, 6,834-yard Graysburg Hills Golf Course and hosted by Tusculum.

The Tusculum A and B teams are both tied for fifth place as each have a two-round score of 588.

Belmont Abbey A leads the team competition as the Crusaders carded a six-under score of 283-287=570 and leads by 13 shots over second place Coker A (305-278=583).

Roane State is third with 584, Southern Wesleyan is fourth with 586 and joining Tusculum A & B squads at 588 is the King A team. Coker B is eighth with 591, followed by Walters State (593), UVA Wise (595), North Greenville (595), Belmont Abbey (607), Ferrum (610), Tusculum C (610), Mars Hill A (611), King B (617), Mars Hill B (644) and Milligan B (666).

The duo of Mariano Rincon (Belmont Abbey A) and Thomas Broshears (Coker A) share the 36-hole lead at seven-under par 137.

For Tusculum B, Harkey was the low Pioneer on the day as he carded a one-under par 71 for his opening 18 and followed with a career-best 70 (-2).

Tusculum A is led by Ed Linley's 78-68=146 and is tied for 19th place. Matthew Hogan shot 74-73=147 and is tied for 22nd place, Fraser Laird shot 73-75=148 and is 25th, followed by George Evans (75-74=149, T31) and Harrison Price (76-77=153, T53) to round out the scoring for Tusculum A.

Hayden Shrewsburg is second on the Tusculum B team as he finished with 77-70=147 and is tied for 22nd place. Dylan Side and Buster O'Callaghan are tied for 35th after carding identical scores of 73-77=150. Koltt Bassham shot 78-84=162 and is tied for 83rd.

Tusculum C is led by Joe Stevenson's 73-73=146 and is tied for 19th. Marinus Jeebe is next with 76-75=151 and is tied for 44th. Caleb Bennett is 68th with 76-80=156 and Ryland Chaney is 72nd with 77-80=157.

Tuesday's final round will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
