ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum University's Jennifer Keim has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Golfer of the Week announced league officials Wednesday.
Keim, a senior from South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, led led wire-to-wire to capture medalist honors and helped propel the Pioneers to a team championship at the Barton Intercollegiate. She shot 73 (+1) in both rounds of play to finish at 146 (+2) for the tournament. As a team, Tusculum overcame a two-shot deficit in the final round to win the title.
Keim leads the Pioneers with her 75.93 scoring average where she has played in all seven events this year which includes six top-20 finishes including four times in the top-five.
Tusculum captured its second team title, winning the Mars Hill Fall Invitational earlier this season.
TU returns to action this Sunday when the Pioneers compete at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville, Tennessee.
