Prince Howard-Whitaker was named to the Tusculum University coaching staff in Summer 2026 and serves as an assistant coach responsible for the offensive line.
He joins the Tusculum staff after three years coaching in the Charleston, South Carolina area. He was the offensive line coach at the Academic Magnet High School during the 2025 football campaign. He spent two seasons at the Porter-Gaud College Preparatory School and served as the offensive line and defensive line coach for the Cyclones football team.
He spent four seasons at The Citadel where he anchored the offensive line from 2016-19. The Bulldogs went 26-20 during his time at The Citadel including 10-2 in 2016 to win the Southern Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA-FCS Playoffs. His final year with the Bulldogs was a memorable one including an overtime upset victory at Georgia Tech where The Citadel rushed for 320 yards against the Yellow Jackets. He also was a member of the track & field team
He finished his collegiate career playing the 2021 season at Alabama A&M as the Bulldogs went 7-3.
The Columbia, South Carolina native played his prep career at Spring Valley High School where he was an All-Region standout and led his team to the State Playoffs.
He earned his Bachelor's degree from The Citadel in 2020 and later completed his Master's degree in sport and fitness administration/management in 2022.
