Brayden Phillips joined the Tusculum University coaching staff in the Summer of 2025 where he serves as a graduate assistant coach. He is assisting with all operations of the football program and works with the defensive secondary.
Phillips, a native of Tallahassee, Florida, lettered three seasons on the Tusculum football team where he played 13 games at quarterback and was a member of TU’s 2023 SAC Mountain Division Championship club. He posted a career completion rate of 50 percent and accounted for three touchdowns.
He was also a member of the Tusculum Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the National Football Foundation’s Hampshire Honor Society.
He served as an intern in the Tusculum Athletic Communications office in Spring 2025 where he gained experience in promotions and strategic communications.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in May 2025 while majoring in sport management and minoring in psychology.
