Garrett Priest was named to the Tusculum University football coaching staff in Summer 2025. He served as a graduate assistant during the 2025-26 academic year where he worked with the offensive line. He was promoted to full-time assistant coach during the Summer 2026 and coaches TU's running backs.
Priest, a native of Athens, Tennessee, lettered three years with the Pioneers and played in 15 contests on the offensive line, including eight games in his senior season where he garnered Team Most Valuable Player accolades.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2025 where he majored in sport science. He was a member of the Tusculum Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and also had a minor in coaching.
