SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. --- Junior Warren Cheney carded a two-day scored of 74-73=147 to tie for 12th place at the 2013 Smoky Mountain Intercollegiate, which is being conducted at the par-72, 7,088-yard Sevierville Golf Club - River Course. The Pioneers finished tied for 10th place in the team competition with 307-301=608.

Clayton State captured the championship with 578, seven strokes better than runner-up Queens (585). Lee and North Georgia tied for third place with 591, followed by Limestone (593), Wingate (599), Lincoln Memorial (604), Belmont Abbey (607) and host Carson-Newman (608).

Tusculum and Coker tied for 10th with 608, followed by King (615), Brevard (616), Catawba (620), Lenoir-Rhyne (620), West Alabama (624), Young Harris (625) and Shorter (629).

TC sophomore Nick Forsberg tied for 37th place with 72-79=151, while junior Coleman Glick posted a 36-hole result of 80-73=153 to finish 51st. Freshman Chris Hutson tied for 63rd place with 81-76=157, while junior Leif Ratliff rounded out the scoring with 84-79=163 (T84).

Tusculum returns to action next week when the Pioneers travel to the Kiawah Island Invitational in South Carolina (Sep. 16-17).
