LENOIR CITY, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University men's golf team is currently in 12^th place after day one action of the 2025 Tennessee River Rumble. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is hosted by Lincoln Memorial and held at the par-72, 7,099-yard WindRiver Golf Club.

With 2-3 holes remaining on their second round, the Pioneers sit a 17-over par for the tournament including +8 for their second round. Tusculum carded a team score of 297 (+9) in its opening round and were in 10^th place in the 20-team field.

Lenoir-Rhyne currently leads and are five-under par as a team including -6 for its second round. Wingate is second at -2, followed by Lincoln Memorial (+1), North Georgia (+4), Anderson (+5), Grand Valley State (+6), Erskine (+8), Union, Tenn. (+10), LMU B (+11), Lander (+12), Barton (+14), Tusculum (+17), Carson-Newman (+18), King (+19), Belmont Abbey (+20), West Texas A&M (+23), Coker (+24), Indianapolis (+24), Limestone (+27) and Newberry (+33).

Union's Gray Campbell currently leads at seven-under par including an opening round 66 and is one-under par with four holes remaining in his second round.

Tusculum's Liam van Deventer is tied for eighth place individually at one-under par. He opened with a 73 and is two-under par for his second round. Blake Williams is tied for 41^st place at +4, while the TU duo of Hunter Hartman and Liam Hermansson are tied for 71^st place at +8. Marinus Jeebe is 81^st at +10.

The second round was halted due to darkness and will be resumed Tuesday morning. The final 18 holes will conclude on Tuesday as well.
