GREENWOOD, S.C. --- Tusculum University's Ed Linley is five-under par after 36 holes and is tied for fourth place following day one action of the 2026 Greenwood Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at Greenwood Country Club and hosted by Lander University.

The Pioneers are tied for 12^th place in the team competition with a 36-hole aggregate score of 292-293=585.

Linley opened the day with a smooth four-under 68 as his round included six birdies, two bogeys and 10 pars. His second round had a little bit of everything including four birdies, five bogeys, seven pars and an eagle on the par-5, first hole. His 71 is his fourth round in red numbers this season.

At 139, Linley is just two shots behind co-leaders Ryan Jahr of Barton and Grand Valley's Bryce Wheeler who sit at seven-under par (137).

Flagler has the first day lead with 13-under par 563 and has a one shot lead over top-ranked Grand Valley at 564). Barton is third with 568, followed by Anderson (571) and Findlay (572) to round out the top-five.

Young Harris is sixth with 573, followed by Georgia College (575), Emmanuel (577), Lander (579), Southern Wesleyan (583), Erskine (583), Tusculum (585), North Greenville (587), Chowan (588), Shorter (589), Newberry (591), King (595) and Ferrum (607).

Tusculum's Harrison Price is tied for 34^th place with 72-73=145, Marinus Jeebe is 68^th with 77-73=150, Buster O'Callaghan is 73rd with 75-76=151) while Dylan Side rounds out the TU scoring with 77-78=155 (T92).

Tuesday's final round will be contested on the par-72, 6,800-yard layout.
