GREENWOOD, S.C. --- Tusculum's Ed Linley finished at six-under par and tied for eighth place at the Greenwood Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole tournament was hosted by Lander University and held at the par-72, 6,300-yard Greenwood Country Club.

The Pioneers finished 13^th in the team competition with 874 including a one-over par 289 in the final round.

Top-ranked Grand Valley State won the tournament with a 20-under total of 844 including a Tuesday's final round 280. The Lakers won by three strokes over co-runner-ups Flagler and Findlay who both finished at 847 (-17).  Findlay made the biggest move of the tournament with a 13-under par 275 on Tuesday.

Barton finished fourth with 860, followed by Anderson (861), Young Harris (862), Georgia College (863), Southern Wesleyan (866), Emmanuel (866), Lander (866), Chowan (873), Erskine (873), Tusculum (874), North Greenville (880), King (884), Shorter (884), Newberry (893) and Ferrum (907).

Linley carded his third straight under par score with a one-under 71 on Tuesday which included five birdies, four bogeys and nine pars. He did not post a score worse than bogey all week. Linley's 210 total is tied for the ninth-lowest 54-hole score in program history.

TU's Harrison Price posted 72-73-73=218 to tie for 36^th place, while Buster O'Callaghan fired an even par 72 on Tuesday to post a three-round tally of 223 (T58). Marinus Jeebe finished 71^st with 77-73-75=225, while Dylan Side rounded out the scoring with 77-78-73=228 (T84).

The Pioneers' 874 score is tied for the ninth-best 54-hole tournament total in school history.

Tusculum returns to action next week (Mar. 16-17) as they travel to Monroe, North Carolina for the Ralph Hargett Memorial, hosted by Wingate University.
