GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Garrett Farthing has
signed a national letter of intent to attend Tusculum College and
play lacrosse for the Pioneers announced TC head coach Richard
Carrington.
Farthing, a Newport Harbor, Calif. product, is completing his
senior campaign at Newport Harbor High School where he has been a
key member of the Sailors midfield.
From his freshman to junior year, Farthing played attack at
Prairie View High School in Henderson, Colo. and he was the team's
leading scorer, team captain, and 2012 Attackman of the Year. He
also earned All-Conference and All-State honorable mention
accolades as a junior.
"We love Garrett's versatility. It really doesn't matter where we
put him, because he's just the type of player who always finds a
way to score goals," said Carrington. "He has tremendous size and
athleticism, but it's his shot speed that will make him an elite
player at this level."
