Pape Lukk was named an assistant coach for the Tusculum University men's lacrosse program in August 2020.
Lukk comes to Tusculum after spending the 2019-20 academic year as assistant coach at Division III Haverford (Pa.) College. Lukk has previous experience as a graduate assistant and at the high school level.
Lukk attended Frostburg State University, helping the Bobcats make three appearances in the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament and two trips to the ECAC Tournament Championship. Frostburg State ranked as high as 15th in the USILA Division III national poll during Lukk's career.
Lukk, a native of Fair Hill, Maryland, graduated from Frostburg State in 2015 with a degree in psychology. He served as an assistant coach at both Patterson Mill (Md.) High School and the Episcopal School in Jacksonville, Florida before earning a master's degree in education from Concordia in 2019.
Lukk has also participated in instructional camps through Navy Lacrosse Camps and in the Maryland Free State Games. Lukk also coached both club and youth lacrosse in Florida, serving as an assistant for both First Coast Lacrosse and Jacksonville Beach Youth Lacrosse.
