Men's Lacrosse

Steven Smith was named men's lacrosse assistant coach in the summer of 2026.

Smith served as a graduate assistant coach at Lincoln Memorial University during the 2026 season, following a four-year career as a starting goalkeeper at Mars Hill from 2021-24.

At Mars Hill, Smith made 727 career saves and had a 14.65 goals against average in 58 games, ranking him second in program history in saves. The Raleigh, North Carolina native also had 272 ground balls.

Smith graduated from Mars Hill in the spring of 2024 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and economics. He received a master of science degree in business analytics from Lincoln Memorial in the spring of 2026.
