GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University Athletics has announced the launch of the Henry Higgins Locker Room Campaign, a project honoring the memory of the longtime friend and supporter of the TU men's soccer program.
The initiative aims to refresh and enhance the team's locker room, creating a space that reflects the pride, camaraderie, and community Higgins embodied.
The project will include repainting and updating the locker room area, adding new décor and branding, refurbishing lockers, and improving the audio system and student-athlete facilities.
The goal is $10,000, which will fund the project. Any remaining funds after completion will be designated for future soccer program needs through the Pioneer Club.
Higgins was a cherished member of both the Tusculum and Greeneville community, whose humor, kindness, and encouragement left a lasting mark on students, coaches, and countless friends throughout the area. His impact was felt not only within the program but across multiple athletic teams and the entire University community.
Donations are being accepted through the E-Team Fundraiser online platform, allowing alumni, and friends of the program to participate easily and securely.
"This project means a great deal to all of us who knew Henry," said Rasmus Nylander, Director of Athletic Development. "He had a special connection to our program, and this renovation project is a meaningful way to keep his spirit and positivity alive for future generations of Pioneers."
