Gee falls in tiebreaker in ITA semifinals

SUMTER, S.C. --- Tusculum University senior Will Gee was eliminated in the semifinal round of Flight B men's singles at the ITA Southeast Regional Sunday at the Palmetto Tennis Center.

Gee faced off with second-seeded Alexandre Frigout of Francis Marion and lost in a 10-2 tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets 6-2, 3-6. Frigout would go on to claim the Flight B singles championship with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Noah Pawirodirjo of Young Harris in the final Sunday afternoon.

Gee won three of his four singles matches at in the tournament, with two of his victories coming via tiebreaker. All four quarterfinal matches and both semifinals in the flight went to a 10-point tiebreaker after the players split their first two sets.

Tusculum has concluded play for the fall 2025 season and will return to the courts in late January.
