ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Ella Majchrzak has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Player of the Week after her stellar performance in the first weekend of the 2026 season.

The Pioneers went 2-0 on the first day of the Big Region Preseason Invitational. Majchrzak, a sophomore from Chapin, South Carolina, drew three walks in the opener against King. She followed up with a 4-for-5 outing versus Converse, totaling two doubles, three runs scored, and four runs batted in. Majchrzak was perfect in the field at third base.

Tusculum (2-2) is scheduled to open its home portion of the schedule on Thursday (Feb. 12) with North Greenville.
