PUEBLO, Colo. --- Tusculum University earned a pair of All-America honors in women's track and field on the final day of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championship at the CSU ThunderBowl.
Junior Jahzara Hart placed third in the 100 meters, and was the anchor leg of the 4x100-meter relay that finished in fourth during Saturday's finals. They helped the Pioneers accumulate 11 points during the meet and finished tied for 23rd place in the field of 93 schools.
Hart, who qualified seventh in Thursday's preliminaries, ran 11.26 seconds in the finals to become the fifth individual outdoor All-American in program history (men and women) and is the first Pioneer runner to medal at an NCAA Championship (indoor or outdoor).
Earlier, Hart ran the anchor leg of the 4x100-meter relay that included juniors Kiera Taylor, Shanice Cox and Theresa Green-White. That quartet qualified fifth during Thursday's preliminaries and placed fourth in the finals with a school-record time of 44.24 seconds.
Green-White, who was an All-American in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championship, joins Hart as the only two-time outdoor All-Americans in program history.
