Tristin Oberg joins the Tusculum track and field program as a graduate assistant coach for the 2026-27 season.

Oberg competed in throws at Elon University for four years, helping the Phoenix to three CAA outdoor and two indoor championships, including a sweep of the 2026 titles. She ranks seventh in program history in the discus, setting the mark as part of a sixth-place performance at this spring's CAA Outdoor championship.

A native of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, Oberg also competed in the shot put, weight throw, javelin and hammer throw for Elon. She graduated from Elon in the spring of 2026 with a bachelor's degree in sports management.
