INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College Women's basketball team is listed in 10 team categories according to this weeks NCAA Division II statistics announced College officials Tuesday.

The Pioneers (21-3, 11-1 SAC) continue to lead the South Atlantic Conference in scoring, averaging 80.8 points per game which is fifth in the nation. Tusculum is seventh in the country in assist/turnover ratio at 1.16, which is also tops in the league. TC is also 10th in the land in field goal percentage (46.2%), 13th in won-lost percentage (87.5%), 15th in assists per game (18.0 apg), 19th in three-point percentage (37.2%), 19th in blocked shots per game (4.7 bpg), 20th in scoring margin (+14.1), 22nd in turnovers per game (15.5 tpg) and 24th in three-point field goals made per game (7.3).

Individually, junior Nikki Van Dine (Columbus, Ohio) is ranked fifth in the country in three-point field goal percentage (47%) and 31st in three-pointers made per game (2.6). Sophomore Stephany Neptune (Wallkill, N.Y.), the reigning SAC Player of the Week, is mentioned twice. Neptune is 12th in rebounding (10.6 rpg) and 39th in field goal percentage (52.8%).

Freshman guard Jasmine Gunn (Nashville, Tenn.) is also listed in two categories, including 19th in assists per game (5.8 apg) and 50th in assist/turnover ratio (1.65). Junior guard Ashli Oliver (Kokomo, Ind.) leads the SAC in three-point field goals made per game, averaging 3.2 per contest, which is 10th best in the country.

Tusculum is having its best season as a NCAA II member and one of the most outstanding campaigns in the program's history. TC is riding a six-game winning streak and has won 18 of its last 19 outings. The Pioneers host Newberry College on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. contest at Pioneer Arena. A win over the Lady Indians (17-7, 7-5 SAC) would clinch at least a share of Tusculum's first-ever SAC regular season championship. TC defeated Newberry last month in a 68-60 overtime thriller.
