GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The opening round of the
14th annual Agnes McAmis Memorial Women's Golf Invitational has
been halted due to inclement weather and darkness Monday at Link
Hills Country Club. Play will resume Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. on
the par 72, 5,805-yard layout.
Fifty-two (52) of the 90 players have completed their rounds, while
38 golfers were still on the course when play was halted. Play was
stopped twice on Monday due to an unstable weather system that
moved through the area.
Teams will maintain their original starting order for the second round for the split-tee format that is also scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
When the first round of the tournament is completed, results will be posted on the Tusculum College Athlete Web-site (www.TusculumPioneers.com).
