Tusculum in sixth after day one of LR/Dunes West Women's Intercollegiate

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. --- The Tusculum University women's golf team is tied for sixth place following day one action of the 2026 Lenoir-Rhyne / Dunes West Intercollegiate, which is being held at the par-72, 6,022-yard Dunes West Golf Club.

The Pioneers are at 55-over par after opening with an aggregate team score of 322 and are +21 for their second round when play was suspended due to darkness. The second round will be completed on Tuesday with the final round immediately following.

Erskine has the lead at 29-over par and are eight strokes clear of second place North Georgia (+37). Lincoln Memorial is third with +41, followed by Catawba (+52), Union, Tenn. (+54), Tusculum (+55), Lenoir-Rhyne (+55), Emmanuel (+56), Belmont Abbey (+66) and Coker (+68) to round out the top-10.

Columbus State is 11th with +71, followed by Converse (+85), Newberry (+88), UNC Pembroke (+89), Edward Waters (+103), Young Harris (+119) and Auburn Montgomery (+127).

Tusculum's Delfin Filiz is the low Pioneer so far at 10-over par as she opened with a 77 and is +5 for her second round with two holes remaining and is in 12th place. Maylei Hildenbrand started the day with 82, but has rebounded nicely and is +4 for her second 18 with one hole remaining and is at +14 for the tournament.

Reagan Padilla is 31st at +15 as she started with a 79 and is +8 for her second round with five holes to play. Annabelle Mozingo is at +16 which includes an 84 for round one and is +4 for her second round which has her tied for 38th place. McKenna Williams rounds out the scoring at +33, which includes a 93 in her opening 18 and is +12 for her second round with one hole left.
