Women's Golf shoots second-best tournament score in program history to wrap up regular season

NINETY SIX, S.C. --- The Tusculum University women's golf team finished 14th at the 2026 Grand Harbor Classic. The two-day, 54-hole tournament was held at the par 72, 5,933-yard Patriot Course at Grand Harbor and hosted by Anderson University.

The Pioneers posted a 54-hole aggregate team score of 922 including Tuesday's final round 302. TU's 922 is the second-lowest 54-hole score in program history, with only the school-record 911 at the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Championship being the best.

Tusculum's 302 final round total is tied for the 13th lowest in TU record book, while its last 36-hole total of 606 is ranked 11th in program history.

Top-ranked Wingate won the team title with a one-under par total of 863, winning by three strokes over runner-up and No. 7 Lander (866). North Georgia and Lee University tied for third place honors with 877, while host Anderson rounded out the top-five with 881. Lincoln Memorial was sixth with 882, followed by Erskine (887), Catawba (891), Missouri-St. Louis (907), Harding (914), Emmanuel (914), Belmont Abbey (919), USC Beaufort (920), Tusculum (922), Union, Tenn. (924), North Greenville (943), Coker (949), Newberry (956) and Young Harris (976).

Amely Bochaton of Wingate and Lee's Hannah Nall each finished at seven-under par (209) to tie for first place. Bochaton claimed the individual medal winning in a playoff.

Tusculum senior Reagan Padilla was the low Pioneer with an eight-over par total of 224 to tie for 35th. Padilla finished with an even par 72 which included going two-under par for her final five holes. Padilla's 224 score is tied for the eighth-lowest 54-hole score in program history. She has shot 224 or lower a remarkable five times in her stellar career.

Junior Delfin Filiz and sophomore Maylei Hildenbrand tied for 55th place honors with 230, senior Annabelle Mozingo finished 78th with 81-80-79=240, while freshman McKenna Williams rounded out the scoring with 80-79-85=244 to place 86th.
