GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University men's and women's cross country teams will host the 2025 South Atlantic Conference Championship meet as part of its season schedule.

Head coach Alaric Gwynn has unveiled a schedule that includes meets at Roane State, Brevard and Maryville in addition to a home Conference Preview meet on September 27.

Both the Conference Preview and the SAC Championship will be run at Kinser Park in the southern part of Greene County. It is the first time since 2012 that Tusculum has been the host school for the conference championship meet.

Tusculum's 2025 slate opens on Friday, September 12 at the Roane State Invitational in Harriman, Tennessee. One week later, the Pioneers will be part of the Brevard XC Classic in Brevard, North Carolina on Friday, September 19.

The Conference Preview will be held Saturday, Sept. 27 with the men's race starting at 9 a.m. followed by the women's event at 10:15 a.m. at Kinser Park.

After an off week, the Pioneers will compete at the Maryville Invitational in Maryville, Tennessee on Friday, October 10 to wrap up the regular season.

The SAC Championship meet will be held at Kinser Park on Saturday, October 25 with the men's race at 9 a.m. and the women's race at 10:15 a.m.

Tusculum will be part of the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional meet at Wingate, North Carolina on Saturday, November 8. The NCAA Division II Championship will be contested at Kenosha, Wisconsin on Saturday, November 22.
