Pioneers begin 2026 season Friday at Tuskegee

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University women's tennis team will open their 2026 schedule on Friday, Jan. 30 when the Pioneers visit Tuskegee for the first of 22 regular-season matches this spring.

Ffirst-year head coach Wyatt Pauley welcomes two returning players and four freshmen as part of his first roster at Tusculum. Pauley comes to Tusculum after coaching at his alma mater Quincy and Kutztown over the past four seasons.

The Pioneer women have four NCAA teams on their 2026 schedule, following a 2025 season in which Tusculum's women were 4-14 overall and 3-9 in conference competition.

Sophomore Jimena Rivera Camacho (Manzanillo, Mexico) was 0-13 in singles for the Pioneers last season, and joins Landa as the only upperclassmen on the Tusculum squad.

Four freshmen will round out the lineup for the Pioneers: Sophia Amyes (Christchurch, New Zealand), Carla Guasch (Saint-Cyprien, France), Emma Kotzmannova (Sumperk, Czechia) and Ginevra Moreno Villa (Castelldefels,Spain).
