GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Kelsey Hayden recorded a dozen kills and a .579 hitting percentage to lead the Tusculum College volleyball team to a 3-0 South Atlantic Conference win over Mars Hill College Tuesday night at Pioneer Arena. The Pioneers (21-8, 9-2 SAC) won the match by scores of 30-10, 30-17, 30-26.
Brittney Oblinger dished out 17 assists.
Mars Hill (12-15, 0-10 SAC) was led defensively by Tiffany Oreka, who made 14 kills, while Jessica Britt added 18 assists in the loss.
The nine SAC wins by Tusculum ties a school-record as the Pioneers have won 13 of their last 14 outings. TC will be at Newberry College Friday night for an important league match. Mars Hill will host Brevard College this Friday night at 7 p.m. in a non-conference tilt.
